Joe Alves

Joe Alves has approximately 31 years of training and development experience. He works with organizations, teams and individuals to engage, support and provide opportunities for increasing the capacity to perform. He has worked with organizations ranging in size of 10 to 75,000 employees. He is known for his positive approach with excellent questioning skills to assist individuals in looking at themselves first in where they are now and second where they need to be. This self exploration then sets the stage for true development and exploration of new attitudes and behaviors that are everlasting and lead to visible increases in effectiveness. 

His most notable accomplishments include:

     Developed an award winning Management Development Program for the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). By using the strengths and gifts of the team he managed, the Management Development Program resulted in tremendous growth of management skills as shown in a yearly Survey of Organizational Excellence administered by the University of Texas. After 2 years from implementation of this program, front–line employees gave major increases in key effectiveness areas. The increase range from 33 to 76 point increase on a 400 point scale. One of the key components of this program was coaching and mentoring of individuals in management positions. Partnered with Insights Learning and 

     Development to develop the Insights Transformational Leadership Program. This program is considered one of the top global leadership learning programs for Fortune 100 Global Companies. He currently works with local and global organizations such as Luminex Corp., ALS Association, Colorado Access, Intuit, MailChimp, University of Vermont Medical System, Warren Cat Equipment, City of Cedar Park, Paradromics, Aiqueous, IBC Bank, and Dell Foundation. The primary focus of this work is Individual and Team Effectiveness, Sales, Leadership Effectiveness and Executive Coaching.

Madeleine York

Madeleine spent ten years in the criminal justice field, serving both retail and medical institutions before finding her true place helping people grow through painful transitions. For this work she has a genuine gift.  

Her career development experience began in Austin with Reedie & Company in 1992 and continued with Reedie-York, where she was made a Vice President in 1994. During 1995 and 1996, she was a Vice President in the Houston office of Reedie & Company.

Madeleine has special expertise in working with people to help them become more effective communicators by understanding their own communication styles and the communication styles of others.

She holds a B.S. degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, and she has completed graduate work at St. Edwards University and at Southwest Texas State University, where she served as a graduate assistant. 

She also is a member of the American Society of Training and Development.
